MyzharBot is a tracked robot platform created to study algorithms for autonomous navigation based on 3D Vision and Artificial Intelligence. The project MyzharBot began many years ago but only in recent years all the ideas came to fruition in the current structure.

MyzharBot has undergone many changes throughout its evolution. The frame is always made through the laser cut initially the only base of support had a thickness of 31mm and showed all the electronics naked. Today the electronics are completely protected by a translucent case that hides nothing.

MyzharBot engines are controlled by small and powerful μNav paired with the driver μBridge,

The brain of MyzharBot is the most powerful NVidia Jetson TK1 that allows the development of computer vision algorithms based on very advanced 3D Stereo Vision and Data RGB-D thanks to stereo camera Stereolabs ZED. The control software is based on open source framework ROS now a worldwide standard for robotics research.

MyzharBot è una piattaforma Robotica cingolata nata per studiare algoritmi di navigazione autonoma basati su Visione Artificiale 3D e Intelligenza Artificiale. Il progetto MyzharBot ha avuto inizio molti anni fà ma solo negli ultimi anni tutte le idee si sono concretizzate nella struttura attuale.

MyzharBot ha subito molti cambiamenti nell’arco della sua evoluzione. Il telaio è da sempre realizzato tramite taglio laser, inizialmente l’unica base di supporto aveva uno spessore di 31mm e mostrava tutta l’elettronica nuda. Oggi l’elettronica è completamente protetta da un case trasparente che non nasconde niente.

Il cervello di MyzharBot è la potentissima NVidia Jetson TK1 che permette lo sviluppo di algoritmi di visione artificiale 3D molto avanzati basati su Stereo Visione e dati RGB-D grazie alla camera Stereolabs ZED. Il software di controllo è basato sul framework opensource ROS ormai uno standard mondiale per la ricerca robotica.

    Nice looking robot! Videos of it at the GPU conference showed it moving well to avoid obstacles. I am building a yard robot with Jetson TX1 and ZED and hope to learn from your machine and use some of your code. I have a motor control board Sabertooth 2×25 in use now.
